Sanitation Supervisor

Sanitation Supervisor $23/hr on 3rd Shift - Fairway Staffing Services

Duties

1. Clean Equipment and Work Areas: Utilize chemical cleaning solutions, hand tools, and pressurized sanitation equipment to clean equipment, laboratories, production areas, and other assigned spaces.

2. Inspect Sanitation Work: Ensure that all operating and sanitation standards are met to facilitate a safe and effective start of production and processing equipment.

3. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs): Adhere to food safety, equipment, and operating safety requirements, including lockout-tagout procedures.

4. Complete Necessary Cleaning Tasks: Fulfill workplace sanitation requirements.

5. Flexibility: Be prepared to work in various areas of the plant as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversees the day-to-day activities to ensure that all sanitation employees follow cleaning procedures for production lines and the facility to meet/exceed Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), USDA and FDA guidelines.

2. Partners with Quality Assurance to ensure a food safe and sanitary environment following all specifications and USDA requirements.

3. Assures strict enforcement of all safety, OSHA, FSIS, USDA and HACCP regulations.

4. Partners with Sanitation Supervisor and other departments/shifts ensuring departmental and location goals are met or exceeded.

5. Mentors, coaches and trains/cross-trains employees to encourage career development; provides consistent feedback concerning strengths and opportunities for improvement.

6. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in all areas where mandatory and ensure others adhere to safety practices helping to promote a zero-accident culture.

7. Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.

Required PPE: In Production process area:

· Non-Slip Shoes

· Smock

· Hair net

· In case of facial hair, you must wear a bear net

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: 8:30pm- 5:00pm
