Sanitation Worker – Food Manufacturing (3rd Shift)
Location: La Puente, CA
Pay: $20.00/hour | Full-Time | Monday–Friday (Some Saturdays)

Approved HR Inc. is seeking a reliable and motivated Sanitation Worker to join our food manufacturing team. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Key Responsibilities:
Clean, sanitize, and restock equipment in production and warehouse areas.
Disassemble and thoroughly clean processing equipment using COP (Clean-Out-of-Place) procedures.
Wash production floors, walls, drains, and equipment using hoses and sanitation tools.
Properly mix and handle cleaning and sanitizing chemicals per safety standards.
Inspect sanitized areas and equipment to ensure readiness for production.
Maintain sanitation logs in compliance with company and USDA requirements.
Assist with routine deep cleans, preventive maintenance, and special projects.
Follow all USDA, FDA, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
Report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Store tools, chemicals, and equipment properly at shift end.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily cleaning goals.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
Perform additional cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
Sanitation experience required, preferably in food manufacturing or warehouse production.
Minimum 1 year of sanitation/janitorial experience in a production environment.
Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
Comfortable working around water, cleaning chemicals, and wet environments.
Knowledge of USDA, FDA, GMP, and OSHA sanitation standards preferred.
Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment for deep cleaning.
Must follow written and verbal instructions in English (Spanish a plus).
Dependable with strong attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Willing to work 3rd shift, overtime, and some Saturdays.
Must complete E-Verify and pass required background/safety checks.
Shift: 3rd Shift | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday (some Saturdays)
