Warehouse S&R Clerk
A warehouse clerk plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring that products are properly stored and shipped. Responsible for orchestrating the movements and storage of goods in a warehouse. Monitors and controls all warehouse/receiving stock movements to ensure that the system’s perpetual inventory correctly reflects the actual physical inventory.
Responsibilities:
Direct efforts of warehouse activities.
Bilingual a plus
Ability to work in cold/freezing conditions
Must have two years of forklift experience
Perform weekly cycle counts.
Oversee the activities of the warehouse and coordinate shipping docks to effectively support outbound operations.
Assure all inventory control procedures are strictly adhered to.
Assure all incoming products are received from vendors and production correctly.
Assure all outgoing finished products are shipped on time and correctly to avoid premium freight costs and shipped with appropriate lot codes.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. onto waist-high shelves.
Employees must have the ability to carry/lift to 10-55 lbs.
Frequent bending at waist/knees
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers.
Exposure to a multi-temp, food production environment.
Required to work in refrigerated and frozen environments, near noisy machinery, and confined spaces as part of daily production activities.
