Our client in the Los Angeles/Gardena area is looking to hire a Human Resources Supervisor or Specialist with manufacturing experience. Must be bilingual/Spanish - Temp to Hire $75K+ DOE
The HR Supervisor will oversee all people related functions & work closely with the divisional management team, support 80+ hourly & 10+ salaried employees across three shifts & will occasionally support 2nd & 3rd shift needs. Flexibility is a must!
Responsibilities: Oversee daily human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations & benefits administration. Manage full-cycle recruitment including; interviewing, hiring, & onboarding new employees. Act as a point of contact for employee grievances, disciplinary actions, & investigations. Ensure company policies adhere to federal, state & local labor regulations.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance & FMLA. Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, & HR database. Serve as active member of the Quality Management Team & participate in internal & external ISO audits Maintain HR related ISO documentation, training records, & corrective actions. Ensure compliance with federal, state & local employment laws.
Required Qualifications & skills: Minimum 5 years of HR experience in manufacturing or similar industrial environment, Strong knowledge of California labor law, Experience with recruiting, employee relations, payroll & workers' compensation, ISO 9001 experience or other quality systems.
Ability to occasionally support 2nd & 3rd shift, Experience with ADP Payroll systems
Must pass Computer test for MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Typing
Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, HR Certification (PHR-SHRM-CP)
