Job description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service
Provides excellent customer service to all customers.
Assist customers paying for gas and store merchandise.
upsell to customers.
Reports/compliance
maintains accurate cigarettes and lottery counts.
Completes end of shift report to account for all sales.
Complies with state laws & company policy on carding customers for all age restricted products.
Maintenance
Responsible for the general cleanliness to keep the store appearance. These responsibilities include maintaining coffee and fountain areas, restocking coolers, sweep & mop floors, clean parking lot, wipe down pumps, empty trash containers, cooking & stocking.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous retail experience or other customer service experience
Ability to effectively multi-task
Ability to operate cash register and make correct change
Able to work various scheduled hours and overtime including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires regular standing, bending, stooping, kneeling and occasional climbing
Frequent use of arms and shoulders (including reaching above head, and below waist level) to stock merchandise on store shelves
