Environmental & Safety Coordinator in Commerce, CA!

Solvis Employment is looking for a proactive Environmental & Safety Coordinator to collaborate with our Production Management Team and grow into an EHS Specialist role. This position requires:

OSHA Experience: Minimum 1-3 years working with OSHA standards and regulations, ensuring workplace safety and compliance.
Manufacturing Experience: 6-7 years in manufacturing, familiar with machinery, processes, and safety protocols.
EH&S Experience: Background supporting large manufacturing facilities, managing hazardous materials, and implementing environmental protections.
Workers Compensation Knowledge: Strong grasp of regulations, injury reporting, and claims management.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, experienced in storage tank regulations, hazardous waste disposal, and safety planning.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills; bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.
Responsibilities Include:

Providing technical EHS support.
Conducting safety onboard training.
Performing safety walks and audits.
Coordinating the safety committee and preparing monthly meetings.
Ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
Managing EH&S IT platforms and data consolidation.
Schedule: 7am- 3:30pm
