Immediate need for a TIG Welder
TIG welding experience is preferred as our welders perform mostly TIG welding. Welder will be required to read drawings and will weld primarily stainless steel. Polishing/Grinding experience is also desired, but not required. Weekends are acceptable to employer. Operating general metal working equipment such as a cold saw, band saw, hand grinder and other general shop tools is essential.
Responsibilities include:
● Operating a TIG welder in safe manner
• Maintain and look out for quality related issues
• Communicate efficiently with supervisors about quality issues, machine issues and job related functions.
• Working with stainless steel metal tubing
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
• Responsible for maintaining all welding equipment.
• TIG Welding is the number one priority. MIG welding is a plus.
• Experience rigging and handling heavy objects
• Must be detail oriented.
• Certification is a plus.
• Hours depend on production load which at the moment is heavy
● Must possess a valid Drivers License
● Will be required to take a welding test
