Solvis Employment Services is currently hiring Warehouse Workers in LA. Warehouse workers are responsible for supporting daily operations to ensure inventory is received, stored, organized, and shipped accurately and efficiently. The role involves handling apparel products, maintaining stock accuracy, and keeping the warehouse clean and orderly.
1st shift:8:30am to 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Unloading
Unload incoming shipments of clothing and accessories.
Inspect items for damage or discrepancies.
Verify shipments against packing lists or purchase orders.
Inventory Management
Sort, tag, and properly store apparel items.
Organize inventory by size, color, style, or SKU.
Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Use warehouse management systems (WMS), scanners, or inventory software.
Order Picking & Packing
Pick clothing items according to customer orders or retail replenishment needs.
Ensure accuracy in item selection and quantities.
Fold, package, and prepare apparel for shipment.
Label packages and prepare them for carrier pickup.
Shipping
Assemble shipping materials and boxes.
Work with shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Ensure orders go out on time and meet quality standards.
General Warehouse Operations
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Assist coworkers and supervisors with other warehouse tasks as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift boxes (typically 20–50 lbs).
Basic computer or scanner proficiency.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Team player with good communication skills.
Experience in apparel warehousing is a plus but not always required.
Work Environment
Fast-paced, deadline-driven warehouse setting.
Handling of clothing items, hangers, cartons, and packaging.
May involve seasonal peak periods (e.g., holiday shipping).
