CASHIER / GUEST SERVICE – SANTA MONICA
$18-$19/hr starting + Tips
Benny’s Tacos is hiring an experienced Cashier / Guest Service team member for our high-volume fast casual Mexican restaurant in Santa Monica. This is NOT a slow-paced cashier job. We need someone who moves with urgency, supports guests during rushes, rotates around the dining room, and helps maintain front-of-house operations.
REQUIRED SCHEDULE:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Must be available ALL listed days/times.
PAY & BENEFITS:
$18-$19/hr starting
Tips on top of hourly pay ($2-$3/hr average)
1 free meal per shift
Immediate hiring
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet guests professionally
Take dine-in and take-out orders accurately
Handle cash/card transactions
Serve food to guests
Portion chips and salsa
Wipe tables and maintain cleanliness
Sweep, mop, take out trash, restock stations
Refill drinks, ice, and supplies
Support team during rushes
Maintain professionalism throughout shift
REQUIREMENTS:
1 year restaurant/cashier experience preferred
Fast-paced experience preferred
Toast POS experience a plus
Strong customer service skills
Must work well under pressure
Team player with positive attitude
Reliable transportation
Food Handler Card required
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Plain black uniform required
