Position Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for the maintenance of Approved HR Services quality standards. This position will be responsible for all aspects of the production process, including, but not limited to, inspecting products for quality, inspecting raw material and finished products, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order, and performing routine preventive maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of equipment to ensure quality control standards are maintained.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow all company procedures while communicating with supervisors and coworkers.
Maintain communication with supervisors and coworkers.
Complete required paperwork while following instructions from supervisors and coworkers.
Work as a team member to achieve the team goal.
Other duties and tasks as assigned by your manager.
Experience:
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
Basic math skills and understanding of what is being manufactured; may be asked to help with troubleshooting issues that arise during production.
Ability to read a tape measure and understand how many boards are being measured for each tape measure.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work overtime as needed; some Saturdays may be required.
Current certification as a machine operator or maintenance preferred but not required.
